Two teams which missed the previous World Cup and the Euro Cup as well have high hopes this year. However, their ambitions seem a bit unrealistic, especially for the home side.

Armenia need to win this, not just because of getting 3 points, but also for stopping the poor streak. After the World Cup qualification phase where they played good and almost got qualified, they lost next four matches with a goal difference 13:3. In September they lost to Denmark by 2–1 in the first round of the Euro qualification.

Serbia have one of the best defense lines in Europe with Branislav Ivanovic and Aleksandar Kolarov being their key defenders. They haven’t played in the Euro Cup since 2000 and their fans expect them to qualify for the one in France. Their game in not impressive even though they played 1–1 with France and lost to Brazil 1–0 in the recent friendlies.

Serbia should really win this, but Armenia won’t give up without fighting. Expect a close game with the away side winning in the end.
