Marseille have faced yet another defeat this weekend. They have unfortunately lost the game against Nantes with the score 1-0 in what was a really close game. This defeat prevented Marseille in their much desired rise on the French league's table. They are currently occupying the 5th place on the Ligue 1's table, but have already lost two games of their last six, winning three times and drawing once. With a form like that there is no doubt that they will try to get another victory against tough Lyon, who won't give their home ground that easily.

Lyon are currently playing better than Marseille and that could be the main difference in their upcoming match. However, neither side is a clear favorite as both teams will try to assert and better their positions in the Ligue 1. Home pitch advantage and better form suggest Lyon to win.
