When they bought the club, Monaco’s owners were very ambitious. This team allowed the least number of goals of all the sides in the Ligue 1, just 26.

Falcao got injured early in the season and later went to play in England, so Monaco’s most famous attacker in 2014/2015 was Dimitar Berbatov. He was the biggest star of Monaco, but not the best player, nor the best scorer. He scored 7 goals, which makes him the 3^rd most fruitful Monaco player, behind Martial and Bernardo Silva. Yannick Ferreira Carrasco was the key man in the midfield with 10 assists. He ruled the middle of the pitch together with Joao Moutinho, who also had an amazing season.
